Wireless Alarm HKC Quantum

We use only top quality products, all approved by the standards set by the Private Security Authority. All equipment is up to the appropriate grade and class as set out by them.

Our Hkc Quantum Control Panel/keypad has the latest in wireless alarm technology with additions such as built in wifi and a smartphone app. The system can deliver every requirement for a wirefree domestic alarm system. The control panel comes with integrated keypad, internal siren & built in wifi card to connect to the securecomm subscription service. It caters for up to 70 wireless detectors, e.g. zone 1 front door, zone 2 front window, zone 3 patio door, zone 4 motion sensor, zone 5 upstairs front window etc. When an alarm occurs the system will inform the user when and on which zone it happened by sending the info to the hkc app.

The panel can also be armed/disarmed using the small hkc tags.

The system has an extensive voice library which means it will speak the names of the zones out loud. If you are about to leave the house and you have left the bathroom window open it will announce “open zone bathroom window”. Also if you have an alarm activation you will hear the keypad and app announce “alarm bathroom window” etc.

We use the HKC RF-CSW combined wireless shock detector with magnetic contact situated on your windows and doors. Shock sensors trigger the alarm when vibration is applied by an intruder to a window or door. The magnetic contact tells the system when the window or door is opened.

These wireless sensors have the option of connecting wired shock and contact also which means that if a window has more than 1 opening the other openings can be alarmed with wired sensors saving some money. Watch the video demo of these sensors on this page to see this.

Shocks and contacts available in brown or white. HKC have used a unique 2 way signaling system which means the battery life in these sensors is up to 10 years, much longer than that of other alarm systems. Hkc shock sensors are far superior to other brands of shock sensors as they have pulse detection which can detect small vibrations like when someone is working gently on the window with a sharp object.

At least 1 Passive Infrared Detector (PIR) will be installed. These devices pick up the body heat of intruders and are used as a back up to the shock sensors on your windows and doors.

Wireless key-fob for setting/un-setting the alarm which can also be used as a panic button. It may be handy to have beside your bed if you forget to set the alarm at night!

We supply and fit the HKC SABB external siren which has a continues white led light which flickers back and forth. In some cases the wireless version of the external siren will be required in which case the light will only flash when the alarm activates in order to conserve the battery pack. The battery pack in the wireless external siren will last up to 7 years.

For monitoring there is a built in wifi card which can connect to hkc securecomm via your house wifi. If there is no active wifi on the property you have to get the combined gsm-wifi card which costs 150 more and that includes a sim card too and that will use the mobile networks to connect to hkc.

If you decide to avail of the securecomm service it costs 120 euro annual subscription payable to hkc by direct debit.

This gives you app to control the alarm and text alerts and push notifications in event of alarm activation.

For added visual deterrent you can place a window sticker on back door.
